I don't know about new SAAB's but I have a '77 99 hatchback that I've been stripping for parts and the seat latch mechanism broke and one side of the latch would not release. It took a lot of persuasion to get that latch free so that I could take the back seat out. The interior on this car was nearly perfect. It looked like the trunk had hardly been used at all (no scuffs on the carpet or the side panels) and the original Semprit M405 whitewall spare tire was still in the car with very little mileage on it. The wheel it was mounted on looks like it had hardly been used. The paint was scuffed around the lug nut holes, but otherwise it was factory fresh.
