and they've been over there for years. The German, Austrian, and Swiss military (among others) use them for utilitarian vehicles (obviously stripped down versions). Great off-road. Center, front, and rear locking differentials come standard. Price for a new loaded leather version in Germany is around $75,000; about $100,000 here in the US. Worth it? Not when you can get a similarly optioned Land Rover Defender (sans leather) for 1/3 of that. OR get a MB Unimog for $85,000 and go anywhere.....
Wow, that went off-topic real quick. Sorry, I like my *real* 4wd trucks just as much as my SAAB's!
