I live in Vermont... on one of the worst class 4 (non maintained) dirt roads. I have owned an 86 900T and a 90 900T and have NEVER been able to bring the rear end around in normal driving. If you can keep the front headed in the right direction then you have no worries. I frequently pass people with 4" of snow on the interstate. While they are doing 35-50 in their 4wd SUV I fly by them at 70+. Never a care in the world. I have also been yelled at by an audi owner who said "I would never go that fast, and I have Audi Quatro" to which I replied.... GET A SAAB! Any fellow saab owners will know what I mean. A good set of studded snows and winter is yours! Really helps when you are the first at the mountain to catch the freshies! Everyone else is still trying to get out of the driveway!
Can't say I'm a big fan of ABS in the winter though.... just assume be able to lock em up!
You will NEVER find a better winter driving car!
liam ;-)
p.s. I would also like to say, before everyone gets on my case....
NEVER HAD AN ACCIDENT, SCRAPE, DENT, DING , ETC.....
