We have to face up to the fact that a lot of these terror weapons were the result of our governments craving to build them in the first place. Biological, nuclear and chemical weapons are known to have no friends, only enemies. But still the major powers continue to improve on the killing powers of these weapons. When I was a student, I predicted that it would be just a question of time before we got a dose of our own weapons. Our willingness to sell these unstable countries all sort of weapons and technology has given them the idea to develop for themselves what they couldn't buy off the shelf. And now they think they own us. Look at all the western technology that went into building that super duper arabian command centre. And what did we get in return? Refusal to use in in the current crisis.
The major powers eagerness to make money buy selling everything, including the kitchen sink, is now helping to give these fanatics the knowledge and materials to destroy the whole lot of us.
