I frequently turn mine off. I'll see what it's like in the snow. I don't like it when the system suddenly drops power to the car. If I wanted to drop the power, I'd take my foot off the accelerator!
Also, I always wonder about statements like "X car is good in the snow." Sometimes, people mean that, after the roads have been cleared, the car runs fine. I personally like to go out during the snow storm (unless it's around rush hour), just because I haven't driven in the snow much. Last year, I drove my Jeep, but I went out to be able to learn how to drive it. This year, I'll be driving the Viggen. Also, there are quite a few very nasty hills here in CT. I'm going to compare my Jeep with all seasons v. the Viggen w/snows. I'll write a report after the first snow fall.
