Though the entire handheld market is currently performing quite poorly, Handspring is very much in business (though their stock is currently @ a meager $1.95). In fact, they are the the number 2 handheld computer maker, and are poised to release their latest product, the Treo, which is a phone/palm/wireless email + web device. The recent deep price cuts you refer to were an attempt to bolster flagging sales...

Looks pretty cool, with an optional built-in Blackberry-type keyboard.
