and his father(Vince) while spent the $15k on one year of prep school told him he would not have a car and would have to work for one.Vince also gave him the option of chossing any college he wishes so far that he himself would have to pay for the first two years and then Vince would pay the remaining. On the flip side my own roommate from Hartford came from a weel off family and his father gave him the Lincoln Town Car for the year to use and strutted around campus as if was the S*** and everyone used to ask me how i put up with him as they wanted to kick his ass!!
Shane was down to earth and his demeanor would fool anyone of his family's wealth while my roommate was quite the opposite.........
God I miss the daily hoop practices and dunking on his head over and over!!!
My HS was the same as I had a teammate who drove a Saab 900 3dr(among others) and one night went off the road and hit a tree near his house so he walked home and took his dad's 900T and his dad just decided to go buy another; needless to say his attitude was quite irritating as well(and he never realized what a Saab can do!!!)

Sorry for the rant but with a degree in Sociology and with the good fortune of being black adopted into a white family and educated there are many points overlooked when discussing the actions of people whether they have money or not!!!
