I considered applying to Swarthmore, but in the end I just didn't really get around to it I suppose. One of my best friend's parents applied to Swarthmore and got denied but ended up going to Harvard (Radcliffe in those days). Go figure. Brown is a really good school, but I'm personally not a fan of Providence, plus I think my school had something like 19 people apply Early Decision to Brown, in addition to the same amount from the other HS in my town. In Newton, MA, Brown is ridiculous to get into. My HS got quite a few into Tufts early, it's a great school, but too close to home for my taste. I'm waiting on numerous schools to come back: Middlebury, Dartmouth's reconsidering of my ED app, Harvard (for kicks), Georgetown, Williams, Bowdoin, GW, and UMass, in addition to BC and Skidmore which I already know.
