The FSI engine is a direct injection
gasoline engine and VW claims that
it burns around 6.7L per 100KM

During my test drive which was 20% city
and 20% highway and 60% country roads
I never exceeded 80 Mph, I drove the
car as to keep up with traffic and no
faster.

The engine has 1300KM on the clock
thus it can be considered as normal.

Results... thing burns 12.2L per 100 KM
which is more then my 280HP AERO when
I drive it rather fast.

FSI... = Fuel Sucking Injection (that's my best guess)

This seems to be one more technology to get
good EU test fuel efficiency and that in fact
does not in real life.

P.S. I have never driven a gasoline engine that
was so slow reving up when in NO gear...
