That's just plain ignorant - not returning the car when your's is ready. I always prefer geting my car back asap too, but I can't imagine driving around in the loaner indefinitely. Putting cars on loaner programs can't be cheap either - it seems loaners get sold for a good few $$$$$ thousand under list (I know I said list, not what the new car actually sells for), with only a few thousand miles on them, so providing these cars can't be cheap either. $25 per day to drive around in a new SAAB is a bargain. Because I boutght a used '97 9000 from a SAAB dealer, for the first time in my life I get a loaner car that is more valuable than my own car! Didn't say I liked it more... but it's definitely better than the '84 240 brick with half a million miles that I used to get from my Volvo Indie! And no, I'm not bitching about GM' owmership of SAAB, I just happen to love 9000s.
