The current poll results are surprising. One of the things that makes Saabs Saabs is the engineering that has gone into the "seat of the pants" feeling one gets while driving one. This has been a design philosophy at Saab for many years. Perhaps some have gotten hung up on what Saab should look like and have forgotten or never realized that Saabs were engineered for a specific feel. If it isn't fun to drive one, who cares what it looks like! The feedback to the driver is very important and Saab has not forgotten this. I have owned Saabs since the early 60's and owned all but 9000's and Sonnets (I will buy a new one if they make it). Many folks would make negative comments about the looks of my 1959 93 or 1967 96 V4 but they did not know how much fun they were missing. I agree with Saab's philosophy and their attempt to convey it to the public.
