Take a look at:
http://www.firestik.com/Tech_Docs.htm
http://www.alfenterprises.com/MobileCBAntennas.html
http://www.antenna.com/faqs.html
All three may be of help. I have a CB/ weather radio in my Cherokee with a 4 foot roof mounted FireStik fiberglass antenna. I really don't know a lot about through-glass antennas, except that they genberally suck in terms of performance. I had a Radio Shack one on my Suburban and it was worthless.
As far as a wire you can stick on the glass.....well, you will have to engineer your own. I have never heard of such a thing, and if you make one, it probably won't send or receive beyond the end of your driveway. Antenna placement is critical for CB. Also, many antennas are practically impossible to tune to your radio, which is almost as important as placement. The Radio Shack crap is one example. My FireStik has an adjustment screw on top under a little cover to easily and quickly adjust the tune (SWR).
Maybe a handheld unit propped up on the console would be your best solution if stealth is your most important requirement. Look for one with an earphone jack so you can use a small headset with it - the handhelds don't have very good speakers or volume.
How about just buying a Valentine 1 and forgetting the CB?
