2000 Grand Cherokee, we're set to return it off the lease in August. The car is on its third set of brake rotors and is in dire need of a new set. There is an intense shuddering through the whole car when braking at high speeds, needless to say, driving back and forth from Boston to Maine is a harrowing experience during the summer months. Our "Five Star Service Center" (Brigham-Gill Chrysler-Jeep in Natick, MA) can only tell us that we need new rotors. I have proposed on more than one occasion that perhaps, if a car with 25,000 miles on it has gone through three sets of rotors, there is a problem elsewhere which is causing warped rotors. Well, our "service expert" Mike DiBadalocrapatucci or whatever the hell his name is (picture Jesse Ventura, only dumber and fatter) can only manage to charge us hundreds of dollars each time for new rotors. With regard to my friends at the Five Star Service Center, I would like to invoke the wise words of the film Happy Gilmore when I call all of them "Jackass."
