It's funny because in the European Car magazine, Jeff is quoted as saying the car is raced, I guess I misread the article. I truly feel that Jeff's car should be in a different category. Outside of the paint (although I think Jeff's car is pretty) his car is far from spotless, his dash had at least one crack the engine was not detailed as number of others, and it had no backseat. There were a number of cars that I thought were contenders including my black SPG (obviously biased!). There was a gorgeous naturally aspirated 9-3 that was modified and there were two '86 SPGs that were detailed and modified beutifully that was modified, I didn't get to the second place winner with the shaved handles. This is not a shot at Jeff or his car, it is obvious that we all think it beautiful, but as I told Larry West the modified class judging needs to change. IMHO, we should break the modified category down to years and body styles just like the other concours' and it should be done with points again, or at least tell the participants ahead of time how it is going to judged.
