I think this unit competes directly with the Neo unit, and both are nice. The empeg has a little more software flexibility, but the Neo uses regular-sized (3.5") drives, meaning you can throw an 80 or 120g drive in there. Pros and cons to each...

My problem with both is that they lack any sort of removeable media (no CD, tape) and lack a radio tuner. That means you pretty much must use it in combination with a conventional head unit, and I don't have the DIN slots for 'em. Well, hmm, I guess I could make the room, but I'm not sure about treating a hard drive to Jamex springs and Bilstein Turbo shocks... I wonder....

In and of themselves, they are both well done, but ultimately I think not a complete solution, and probably not durable for any lowered or "suspension-tuned" car.
