Did you notice the face that Tony made when he found out about Chris killing the dog? They really hammered home the Tony's animal connection idea this episode. The funny thing is that it's not just a Tony thing people in general can watch other humans die and not be too moved, but when a dog is killed, it's upsetting. I think you could right and interesting essay on the relationship between Tony's animalistic behavior and the fact that he uses animals as an outlet for his more sentimental emotions.
I liked the Conversation between Carmela and her friend about Furio. Carmela's friend said "You're acting like a 15 year old girl" and "If you haven't slept with him yet it's not real" pretty much suming up the relationship from Carmela's end. Meanwhile we see Furio as feeling displaced and lonely, it's unclear why he has see's Carmela as his salvation, but we see that his real problem is that he is man without a home or a family.
For a second, I was thinking wow, Tony could actually appreciate a positive quality in a woman without wanted to slept with her...and then that second ended. What does he think he's Paul McCartney? ;-)
Also at this point the FBI thing has been going on too long with Drea, at first I thought she should be going right to Tony to find tell him and find out what to do... but now if Tony finds out how could he not whack her?
Anyway with only three episodes left, I'm not sure how I'm gonna make through the winter. And what's with Fox running Malcom in the Middle at nine o'clock? I mean I like that show a lot, but against the Sopranos? Who are the kidding.
