Yup.. looks like war with NY is imminent. Should be interesting to watch this unfold over the next three episodes!
None of the guys in the family know how to deal with problems. On the other hand, the females on the show usually are a bit better at this, and Janice even tries to deal with problems which don't exist! (What was the deal with her crying last week?)
It was interesting that Adriana talked about her problems with Christopher with the FBI agent. Seems to me that the FBI agent actually set the wheels in motion for Adriana to seek help for Christopher!
I'm no geneticist, but is it true that none of our genetic programming helps us with emotional and psychological issues? I'd like to think that *something* distinguishes us from common animals :-)
As for Peg-leg, I thought it was funny that she actually *was* hitting the bottle later in the episode (cheap vodka in a plastic bottle)... right before she got it on with our man Tony.
Was Tony her b*tch or was she his? He was a bit on the defensive when he said he'd call her, and she said no... Hmm, maybe the vodka was just her way of getting Tony.
As for her views on Americans, I think the correct answer is somewhere in between. We *are* pretty spoiled and some of us do complain too much (New Yorkers, for example, heheh) but what you say is true, the problems we possess, the world also possesses. And yes, immigrants to this country are usually way too busy trying to make a living to worry about getting psychological help.
Christopher's confrotation was sad and comical, but what I can say is this: mission accomplished. Christopher is gonna get the treatment he needs.
All this time, I thought Paulie was pissed at Tony, but then in this episode, Paulie said, "It would be an honor to have a picture of this man hanging in my loving room." Wow. But then he had it retouched... symbolism here? Paulie is starting to see Tony's flaws?
Another interesting scene was when Silvio was asked whether he thought Tony killed Ralph, and he responded, "I dunno..."
I guess no one in the crew has 100% trust. I thought he would, but Tony didn't entrust Christopher with the knowledge of who killed Ralphie.
Anyhow.. great analysis, J!
