this entire season is a disappointment compared to prior years and the episodes seem very disjointed. I suspect Melfi will continue in the show, because that's the very premise of the series - "the tough don who's a softy at heart and can't reconcile all the s**t in his life - and what if he confided in a shrink?" Without Melfi, (or someone like her, I suppose) the series loses its compass.

But this season sucks. Where's Meadow? Who cares about Bobby? Will Junior's legal problems never end? What's with the pony-tail dude, and who cares? Nothing's coming together and the individual episodes are BORING (except for getting rid of Ralphie - at least that had a conclusion!).
