I was also moved with my company. If it is being looked at as a temporary move, you should have no taxes to pay, just the cash for an inspection and registration. You'll be getting some type of work authorization from Canadian Immigration through your company, you'll end up taking that and your proof of ownership to a Canadian Customs House and get a form that says you are allowed to have the car in country, but not allowed to sell for a period of time. You then take that form to the Candian DMV and register the car here.
The process seemed daunting to me prior to the move, but in the end, was very easy.
You'll also need Canadian insurance and check your loan/lease. I had to buy my lease out to take the car with me-had it only for 10 months of a 36 month lease at the time.
If you have questions, call Canadian customs- they were really helpful when I called.
