Thanks for all the info regarding the move. I'll get in touch with Canada Customs and get an idea of what it will cost.
I probably should have done a little better job explaining my situation. I am Canadian and moved to the US six years ago for work so going back to the metric system and picking up French again should be pretty easy. On the skiing front, I was born in Vancouver, BC and grew up in Whistler and was pretty spoiled with easy skiing conditions. The one thing my brother in Toronto has told me is I’ll get really good at skiing ice.
My Viggen is on a four year lease; 7000+ Miles, and I have to admit, has been one of the most fun cars I have owned. Either breaking the lease or importing the car into Canada looks like it will cost me a significant amount of money – unless someone out there wants to assume my lease. Nice deal; a three-year lease at a four-year price.
Anyway, thank you again for the info. I’ll keep you posted.
Scott.
