How come GM/SAAB losing $500M is a big deal Posted by Ian Glenday [Email] (#95) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Ian Glenday) on Sat, 7 Dec 2002 19:10:33 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
and Ford/Jaguar doing the same is not. From DJ Newswires:
"For now, though, the delay in launching a new line of XJ sedans could result in Jaguar losing $500 million this year, according to the official. Ford now expects to launch the XJ early next year instead of in the fourth quarter of this year.
Scheele said it's taking time to "get manufacturing technology right" to produce the all-aluminum body for the sedans. The delay, he said, doesn't signal any quality problems. "It's not a big deal," Scheele added. "It's a relatively minor issue.""
AND SO DO I BELIEVE IS SAAB's.
