My mom drives a 98 900s and once our new house is finished she will need something with 4WD to get up it. Before the flames poor in, The driveway is 1,500 feet almost straight up. It has a very steep rise, banks right then hard left. Ive boasted that mine could make it up(95 900SET) but honestly I dont feel the car has enough weight sitting on the fronts. Plus the torque has a tendency to spin the wheels. Find a steep driveway pasted with snow and you'll see what I mean. And for the record, we use snow tires, not all seasons. My mom feels her only alternative is one of the new 4 wheel drive monsters that GM makes. Since the dawn of time she has driven saabs, A red 900T, then a brand new 86 9000T, and now the Lame 900s "So my sisters could learn how to drive" I had the thought of her getting an SUV. Id rather see a 4WD 9-5 wagon.
