With all due respect I think this is a little bigger problem than I'm willing to put in the “experience box”. More than $1000 puts it into the “needs to be fixed box”
It appears that I sent my last post before checking in on the 93 bulletin board. Please refer to the 93 bulletins for the posts titled “Air distribution boxes revisited”
May I add a couple of quotes like they do in the ads for films? Just to wet your appetite.
“This only serves as a temporary fix…”
“The problem is with your heater box, in addition to controls, they both need to be replaced. ($$$$)”
“..they still say that Saab’s official position is to just grease and shim.”
Is this a problem that deserves to be elevated to a national (possibly international)level? One that would be addressed from Saab openly as opposed to trying to get dealers to fix it? I think it might be time for a survey to determine the numbers?
