If you don't have one already, get one! And get a decent one (with 9.6 or more volts of power). These have a ton of different uses. I used one all day yesterday, for 3 different projects. I would have gone nuts without it! Mine is a Black and Decker Versapak. There are many varities out there now that are very good.
Also, I got a Dremel Multi Pro (35K rpms of spinning power) for Christmas. Very useful, and a ton of tool for the $. Already used it to cut through metal closet shelving. Awesome!
