I hear ya; GT40 is a gorgeous piece of gearcake.
Last summer my wife & I took our '68 Vette to a friendly winery for their annual vintage car gathering. We were wandering around when I saw a GT40 driving up the gravel drive ahead of a Cobra. I explained to my wife that the GT40 was a replica. She asked how I could tell & I explained "because it's driving on gravel". Turns out I was wrong. A guy from the area had driven in with his original GT40. It's one of the six street versions that were built; in fact it is the prototype street GT. I was shocked and thrilled. Fabulous car. BTW, the Cobra was one of very few equipped with the drag set-up, I think it was called the Dragon Snake package. [drool]
