Yes, where's the rule that states a smaller, sport-coupe-oriented model shouldn't best it's midsize brother's 'sport variant' (Vector)? I mean, why shouldn't the budget sport coupe outperform the sporty family car? Of course it should, I think.
Crude analogy: I don't know this, but how do the top BMW Z engines compare to the 3's? In my little mind I'd want/expect from them to make the Z hotter. But I guess until we see just how the 9-2 is targeted we'll have to wait see - if it's a budget grocery car my analogy is waaaaay off :op
