Try this on for size: http://www.dragondoor.com/kettlebells/. Kettlebells will rock your world, and are much cheaper than Bowflex. If you add a decent free weight set with a power rack, then you'll have access to a much, much greater range of exercises for both strength and endurance. Not to say that you can't get a workout on Bowflex, but that it's expensive and limiting. Go to the dragondoor forum and ask about Bowflex - many of those folks have experience with it.
