Stickman --
Good luck with replacing your rims. After reading Flippo's post, I can understand his point. But then let the consumer know they are not meant for driving under any conditions but sunny and dry. And if you want to drive it under any other conditions, recommend buying a trashy set of rims to run under every day conditions.
My advice to you is take some digital pictures to go along with your claim. Ones that will clearly show what you see. They are going to send me to the Wheel Doctor to refinish mine. And let me tell you, I don't plan to drive mine anymore -- unless the weather forecast is 80 F, sunny, with no chance of rain.
It's a shame -- why couldn't they make a quality set of rims that would stand up under a little more wear. My Saab 900SE has alloy rims that didn't do this and they were still sporty looking.
I do see Flippo's point, but then I also think we should have been made aware of the potential up front.
