To be fair my experience re Enclave was a friend's older model, I think around 2008 and probably less power than the newer models but with a few hundred lbs of cargo going up mtn passes in CO it downshifted a lot and this guy hated it because eventually he did have tranny issues.

now a new enclave with twin turbo and 450 lbs/ft - that's stimulating.
