That's why I drive the alero. I buy a car for $2000-$2500k miles, do some minor repairs, brakes, tires, suspension, fix the A/C, drive it for a year to a year and a half, sell it for $3000-$3500. I basically drive my car for free. I drive about 28 miles one way to work. I live half a mile from the freeway, and my work is a mile and a half from the freeway on the other end.

I do go into work at 5:30, so the roads are usually very clear and open. but very straight.
