If I had the cash, she probably wouldn't give me a hard time about it at all, but since I would have to take a loan out to buy this, she would flip out.

When we first got married, she was used to shopping in thrift stores, and buying EVERYTHING 2nd hand, and CHEAP, and CRAP. I showed her that she could buy a few nice things and she's all about that, even learning how to ride motorcycles. but ONLY if it is a cash based purchase.

She actually has her heart set on an old cherokee/grandwagoneer, and would rather I buy one of those for her.
