Our previous next door neighbors were a young couple and total stoners. He would come home from work at noon to smoke dope on the front porch! I was convinced they would eventually start cooking Meth in the kitchen and burn their house to the ground.

My plan in that scenario was to immediately purchase the empty lot and build a Garage Home on the property. Four bays of garage space on the first floor and a two bedroom home on the second floor. The second floor would be used only when our grown children returned for visits.

The neighbors lost the home in foreclosure so I never had to worry about our home being consumed in the inferno of their creation.
