I don't really want to think of Saab and Cadillac in the same sentence.
For me the Cadillac IS (was) filled with mystique and the "sort of" part of the American dream.
You get here, work hard, make a fortune and buy a Cadillac and then take it back to Sweden for bragging rights.
Don't care so much for the new Caddys but sure like to look at the 70s and 80s ones.
Saabs for me is more of a regular car that you drive between point A and B.
Since I grew up with them all around me, it is no mystique over them just like you probably don't get very excited when you see a pinto or alike.
Quality, safety and technology though might be a completly different thing between the two when compared.
