I picked up a 6 Sport Wagon back in July for under 20k. 19.5 to be exact. They had great incentives over the summer. The only option is a body colored sport grill. It has a manual trans and I am very happy with it. I started out looking at small wagons, 9-2 (linear only available), Mazda 3. Also Golf TDI. I didn’t like the 9-2 despite the great price, I just didn’t care for the seating position, the way the revs would hang between shifts. I’m sure the Aero is better and would likely be driving one of those if there were any available. I also searched for used 9-5 wagons (my local dealer had an 02 Linear, 5-spd but the lessee decided to keep it). A new 9-5 on the lot was slightly out of my reach at 28k and it was an auto too. I started looking at Mazdas as I heard the 3 was a great vehicle. No deals, though and for roughly the same price I could get a 6.

No issues over 3500 mi. The only problem was that the airbag light was on during my test drive but that was fixed prior to delivery. A little wind noise around the doors is my only compliant. Oh and the 3 liter has no pull under 3k especially with the AC on.
