Anders is right, there's other possible things. Another possibility, if those calipers are anything like my 2001 9.3 is the anti-rattle springs. They can be installed incorrectly, in a way that pushes the caliper out & away from the rotor. Then every time you press the brake pedal it goes to the floor & pumps up solid on the 2nd push.
