as the Mercedes designed ones. The fuel usage of the 2008 model is reportedly quite a bit lower. Finally someone comes along with a low power, low fuel usage car & the next model they have to use more fuel to satisfy the power urges if the ones who wouldn't be interested in the first place. I know the original ones were not well thought of in this country, but scheiße, some of us would like to get one with it's low power AND its low fuel usage. Living in Alaska, I sometimes have to ask if the oil companies don't want it this way?
I did see a diesel one in Canada for sale with heated seats, but it can't be registered in the US, because of EPAA regs.
