No pics as of yet... I dropped the car off Monday morning at the local Alfa shop to have a rear caliper replaced. Normally, I'd do it myself, but those inboard rear brakes require a fair amount of work to deal with, and with the holiday weekend I was worried I wouldn't have time for it.
A couple hundred bucks to have someone else take care of the problem properly the first time is worth it, but I suspect once this initial visit is over, it'll be all my own wrenching.
I think I won't get it back until next week sometime, but I'll take pics once I do.
Alfa is (again) scheduled to start selling cars in the US. Currently, it's looking like 2009 models will be available sometime next year, but various dates and times have been going around for five years.
Parts are reasonably easy to come by - most of the maintenance items are readily available, but cosmetic parts and some big mechanical parts are tough to come by. I haven't had any real problems with my 164Q, and that car had a *much* smaller run in the US than the GTV6/Milano. I don't anticipate any real issues.
