After a deer totaled our Mountaineer, we needed SUV to haul the dogs and stuff. Looked at all the mid-size and crossovers. Wanted something to two at least 3,500 lbs. and still get decent mileage. The Santa Fe did it all. Its bigger on the inside that the Mountaineer but smaller on the outside. Quiet, comfortable, 19mpg around town and inexpensive. Got everything on a Limited but 4WD and 3rd row seat for $25K + tax. BTW its got more hp than the our ex V8 Mountaineer.
