Being mid-40's most are driven by retirement age looking people. The average age of a Buick buyer is in the mid-to-50's and dropping when all other car makers are increasing as does the population. My windows are tinted on a blue Verano but I am liking the silver and white ones too.
I did like my 9-5 Aero with Nordic stage lll that ran with an similar era M5 from 100-130 mph. Sure it was a unique sedan that could run with V8's of that time and probably double their fuel economy. Today's used Verano 2.0T is $12,000 less expensive than the 9-5 Aero 13 years prior. Used Verano Turbos are in the low $20K range. It is definitely a "cheapskate car" car that should be very inexpensive to own if engine and trans need replaceing as they are shared with other cars.
The Verano doesn't swiveling map light or twin folding sun visors but does everything my 9-5 Aeros did plus enclose you in Lexus matching silence. Sometimes I'll be stopped at a stop light and just turn off the radio and hear the silence. It is an impressive kit for sure and am amazed at the refinement. Saab owners used to have a certain stigma about them too from others on the road. :)
