Usually if a viggen has not been driven under WOT for quit some time the rist pull will be "leaner" after which you will see a change and the car will run "fat" through out the rpm range. In some stock ECU's there is a "feature" that runs the car stoich 1s after the peddel is floored despite the load or rpm, but if you did the pulls in higher gears you must have accelerated a tag longer than 1s :)

If the car behaves like you write I have a gut fealing everyting is not right with it. MAF would be my first palce to look for "mystery" A/F's
