hello all,

As a relatively recent saab owner (I have a 97 9000 cse), I have some performance-related questions as I am far from knowledgeable in these areas.

While I am generally happy with performance, I am interested in some relatively low-cost performance upgrades, mostly in low-end perfomance.

What would you knowledgeable folks recommend in terms of equipment and/or manufacturers?

Since I have a hole in my stock muffler, I am considering a complete upgrade to a JT system (including downpipe, if necessary).

I am also looking at an open-air intake, a turbo-bypass valve (adjustable or otherwise and/or a manual boost-control.

I am also looking at an ecu upgrade (only a stage 1 or 2). Perhaps from Maptun or from Nordic. I will probably do this last, as I would like to see how performance increases with only adjustments to the muffler and turbo.

Also, in relation to the turbo (I have a garret t25 iirc), what can it handle in terms of boost pressure/hp?

Also, will I need to make adjustments to my fuel system to compensate for these performance adjustments?

sorry to be long-winded, but I am an idiot as far as these matters are concerned.

Any advice on my questions or related tips would be appreciated. I would rate myself as a 3 on a scale of 10 in terms of DIY btw.
