I have a LH2.4 problem.....still here, good! for the past couple weeks investigating and diagnosing I can not stop my computer from raising the idle. I have two (2) 89 900's, one is runnin perfect everything to specs. The other(of course a turbo) as soon as i start to accelerate down the road Idle will stay at ~1200rpm. (restart the car back at ~900 or so then back to 1200)
I have swaped EVERYTHING from my other 89...except the motor and ECU;), have checked all specs for each part have checked all grounds have checked wiring to ECU....ALL GOOD! so why is it the ECU has a signal of about 11.5 volts to the AIC? We all know it should be at 8 volts. My other 89 proves that theory.
If i block off the AIC and set the idle via the "screw" it will stay level all day and night long, so that rules out vacuum leaks!
Not only do I want my beast runnin right, I want to know who has the BRAIN Power to solve this problem?
Thanks So very much if YOU can.
