Big brake kits - who knows about 'em here??

I'm looking to install upgraded brakes to my 2003 9-5 Aero. Found seveal options: AP(Abbott), WP, Hirsch(brembo caliper), MovIt(brembo caliper), and I remember Nick trying to get a group buy from StopTech, with no success apparently. I've read a lot of white papers on the physics of braking and the performance reasons for upgrading, which basically come down better heat dissipation with bigger brakes. My AERO's brakes perform fine; I have no complaints except that they look, well, 'non-performance'. I know this will probably spark a debate about form over function and the like, but if anyone can be objective and share information about this sunbject I'd be grateful. Let's be clear that I am not looking to upgrade to a heavier brake assembly. If unsprung weight is an issue off the bat then I may abandon it altogether. What I'm hoping is that I can find a two-piece rotor with an aluminum hub that will decrease weight enough to balance out the bigger caliper, which is almost certain to be heavier than the stock one, even though it may be manufactured out of an alloy rather than cast iron. Cheers.
