Can't say I ever hated the thumping ricer scene. For one thing, they are very serious about cars, which we can all agree is a good thing. They gotta have jobs at such a young age, so that's another good thing. And it's a "clean" modern image - the neat clothes and snappy hair cuts. Not at all like the filthy hippie rock and roll drug culture I grew up in. No offense Jak - you're one cool hippie! And I'll take hippie rock any day over that crap ricers listen to. Seriously though, the ricer girls are hot! My fav new girl-friend is a graduate of that scene. Some 10 years ago she owned a car that she fixed up and showcased at all the local shows. Her reason for leaving that scene was the west coast "gangsta" and wannabe invasion. She's more into the couples/dance/rave scene these days.
