Up here they are pretty rare.I got my 86 9000T 5yrs ago and heard about the SPG then.They apparently only made them from 88 to 92.I wanted to get all the extra parts and put them on my 86.Could not find anything.Then last year a used car salesman that I inspect and fix VW and Audi for called me and asked if I wanted this 92 9000 for parts or scrap.I said ok but wasn't paying much for a scrap Saab he said ok and we agreed on 800.00.When the car got here it was pretty dirty and looked real bad.We cleaned it up and wow it was better than my 86(did body and paint on the 86 when I got it).Went thru the paperwork and there it was on the registration 1992 Saab SPG.Without looking I literally fell into one.After the boost crank and lowering it last week the car is literally a rocket.I had to change the tranny 3 weeks ago and got one from a 93 CSE.Pleasantly surprised to find rpm's 300 lower in all gears.Phenomenal gas mileage and really pulls,turbo sounds like a banshee at 3500 plus(running stock exhaust)it has turned into a real sleeper.Thanks for the input and I am real impressed with your work.Maybe I will come down some day so you can work some magic on this one form.
