Hey folks,

I live in the Portland, ME area and I am looking for someone to fab a 3" catback exhaust in stainless. I have been emailing with Jak, very informative and helpful, and I am close to placing an order for a 3" downpipe and stage 3 ECU. Jak recommended magnaflow.

I have a '99 9-5 4cyl (150,000 miles) and am ready to get a little more juice. Ha Ha

Questions:
1)Anyone recommend a good quality/price shop for the fab?
2)Anyone have similar setup with issues with passing MSI?
3)Are you running a centre muffler?
4)Sound quality?
5)Model # for 3" centre muffler and end muffler?

I really want this set-up but want to make sure I can get inspected after I drop $1500. I really need some advise on a good shop and MSI. I see a lot of modified cars (mainly Hondas, Neons) driving around with fart cans on that must be getting stickers.

Thanks in advance,

Mike

P.S. Get "Jak"ed! - possibly a good slogan for you Jak? In Canada it is a good thing - hopefully it is here in Maine. Not exactly the same but maybe changed to fit name.

(jacked [ jakt ]
adjective

Definition:

highly stimulated: highly stimulated and wide awake ( slang )
jacked on coffee )

Jacked (adj).
Definition: strong, well equipped.
...
Example: "Her boyfriend is jacked, so you had better not mess with him."
Etymology: This term probably comes from the auto repair industry. When one jacks up a car,it is made better. When a car is jacked up, it is better, so any object that is "jacked" is strong and well equipped.
