i have been reading about this for a while. it allows you to run more advance with a leaner mixture and get cooler running and better power.
sounds perfect for turbos too!

not sure if there's enough squish area on 16V saab heads for this to work, but i'm going to try it when i finally get around to putting my volvo motor together.
from one of those threads i did see a 16V volvo engine that was grooved. looked bizarrre, but if it works, i'm all for it.
