usually the brakes will do that due to the amount of heat you build up with the pads when out on the track. I think they get glazed over a little due to the heat which makes them harder then they are suppose to be thus the crappy pedal feel just like it was this morning on the way to the track. It should just take a day or so for your brakes to be back to normal :)

I was actally about to post about my brake issues in the hopes people would have some ideas for me.

To my knowledge before friday when we put new front rotors & new rear pads with new fluid my brakes were fine. So sat AM I go out to warm the car up & the brakes were iffy...... after 3 laps at maybe 70% of the speed I want to go I hit the brakes & the pedal goes to the floor & I feel the ABS kick on & I wasn't slowing down very fast. So I did a lap or so then let the brakes cool etc..... The ende of the 2nd session I heard a rubbing noise & I totally forgot to check the brakes because when I was going through the pits I hit the brakes & the noise went away. So finally the last session same deal no stopping power (where I usually brake at say 200 ft I would brake a 600+ft & barely make it) & I decided to turn in early to see what was up. After hearing a constant scrapin noise I realized 3 of the 4 rear pads were metal on metal & after discussing it with my instructor he feels ABS sesnors or brake master cylinder. How can I test for either of these?

crappy weekend for me however I must say I was VERY pleased with the koni kit (spring/shocks) not only does my viggen ride 10x's better but the handling is equally improved!!!

chris, how did your last sessions go?
