I gave it some thought back when I was tracking my Viggen. Never came up with a real solution, but had a couple ideas that didn't involve cutting the nose.. The ducts I wanted removable or located in a way that snow wouldn't rip them off during the winter months. I thought maybe it might be possible to "gap" the foglights (or replace with smaller units) and build some sort of collector around the housing and opening. The other option was looking at prefab stuff and mounting a long thin collector below the intercooler shield. One other thought was to use the towing hook hole, but I doubted much air could push through it (but having a cap was a bonus).
The next issue was the mounting of the "air blower" onto the brakes. You want it to blow on the disk veins (the edge). Pretty tight down there as well and was looking like a custom backing plate. It just seemed like no matter what, I'd end up cutting the plastic deflectors below the car to accomodate 3-4" ducts. All in all, I kinda just gave up and would be interested to find out if anyone has got a good setup.
