Its a trade off, to get better top end, you must sacrifice some low end, the way I see it is small turbos like the t25 and td04 are decent low end turbos and a little mid, not much upper mid and hardly any top end...
Go a little bigger like a t25/28 or T28 and you have a little bottom end more mid to upper mid and still not much upper end... You go even bigger like a gt3071 that I have and you have very little bottom, decent mid, great upper mid and some decent top end... Go even bigger, say a gt30r or gt3076 and you have no bottom, a little mid, good upper mid and awesome top end... Its all where you want your power band to be at... To get really high hp numbers, you will have to sacrifice some low and lower mid range to get the great upper mid to top end... So depends on your driving habits and where you like to have the power and torque... A big turbo would not be good for auto-cross, but would be good for racing... :-) My 2 cents... John
